Global headliners, rising artists, open-access games and local Busan food turn Samnak Ecological Park into a three-day rock route. Pick your stages, chase your discoveries and bring your loudest festival crew! 🤘
A three-day park-wide rock run where global headliners meet rookie discoveries, participatory events, local food and camping.
Busan International Rock Festival takes over Samnak Ecological Park with stages spread through the grounds, moving from fresh domestic energy to global headliner scale. One turn can land you in a completely different sound, so choosing your next set becomes part of the rush 🤘
The festival runs for three days and carries a 27-year legacy as Korea’s first and longest-running international rock festival. Build a route across the grounds instead of planting yourself in one spot—and remember, overall admission is paid even though the programme also includes open-access stages.
Rookies on the BU-ROCK is the supporting-programme name to circle when you want to find the next voice before everyone is talking about it. The main festival brings the giant names, but this is where your “Wait, who is that?!” moment can begin (・o・)
Bring the friend who always sends you new bands, then compare notes between sets. A great festival route is not only about the act you came to see—it is also about the surprise you carry home.
Road to BU-ROCK gets its own place on the programme alongside the main festival and Rookies on the BU-ROCK. Treat it as another discovery lane to track while you move through the park, especially if your group cannot agree on one stage.
Keep the name on your festival checklist and watch the released programme for its exact appearance. That little bit of planning can save you from hearing about a great set after it has already slipped past!
The food court lounge brings local Busan food into the festival route, giving your group a proper pause between guitar-heavy bursts. Grab a breather, compare your favourite performances and decide where the next stage pulls you.
Food information is still being updated, and the available details come from the previous festival edition, so do not treat the menu as final. Go ready for a local-food stop, but check the updated offering before you plan your entire route around one dish.
Samnak Auto Camping Zone gives the festival a stay-put option instead of making every moment a dash between the gate and the next stage. It is a natural match for a group that wants music, open-air downtime and a base near the action.
Bring friends who can handle a long festival route and still have energy left for another set. Camping arrangements and requirements should be checked before you set out, but the zone adds a whole extra layer to the three-day experience.
Between performances, open-access participation games and a sing-along pull you off the sidelines, while MD booths add a little merch-hunt momentum. Suddenly your plan is not just “watch bands”—it is stage, game, food, booth, stage again! 🎶
Samnak Ecological Park is an expansive outdoor venue with long paths suited to walking or cycling, and venue impressions place it near a bus terminal. Exact transit and parking arrangements need checking before you go, but the setting is made for moving around rather than staying inside one room.
