1.8 million visitors every single year!?' That is right, Osulloc Tea Museum in Seogwipo draws a massive crowd as South Korea's first tea museum, and you have got to check out its green tea exhibits! 🍃 Amorepacific opened this space back in September 2001 to introduce and spread rich tea culture to everyone. It is amazing to see how a place dedicated to green tea became such a beloved landmark. You can wander through displays that introduce Korean, Eastern, and Western tea culture and history.
Once you step inside, you will find fascinating green tea-related exhibits alongside a lovely gift shop and a café. ☕ There are even hands-on programs like tea tables and tea classes if you want to dive deeper into the experience. Just keep in mind that while admission is completely free, those special experience programs require a separate fee.
Make sure to head up to the observatory to catch a sweeping view of the surrounding rural scenery. 🔭 The parking lot is totally free, making it super easy to drop by for a visit. Operating hours run from 09:00 to 19:00 in the summer and 09:00 to 18:00 in the winter, though bad weather can sometimes change those times so check before you go.
