An 80-meter undersea tunnel!? That’s the longest in Korea, and it’s the headline feature at Sea Life Busan Aquarium, right by Haeundae Beach 😳 The aquarium stretches from basement level 1 to basement level 3, with themed tanks and experiences focused on underwater ecosystems.
There are eight exhibition halls, including Stingray Coast, Seahorse Nursery, and Shark Walk. You can also find a shark transparent boat and a VR zone, so decide whether you’re in the mood to explore the exhibits, try an activity, or fit in both 🐠
The aquarium opened in 2001. In 2014, it changed its name to Sea Life Busan Aquarium and renovated its interior. Weekday hours are 10:00–19:00, with last admission at 18:00; weekend hours are 10:00–20:00, with last admission at 19:00. There’s no stroller rental, so plan how you’ll get around if you’re visiting with a young child 🙂
