Deoksugung Night at Seokjojeon: A Royal Time Trip ✨

On Seokjojeon’s second-floor terrace, you get the terrace café experience: classical music, coffee once loved by Emperor Gojong and a tasting plate with three kinds of refreshments. Choose one drink from four options, settle in and let the palace night slow down for a moment 🎶

The atmosphere here isn’t just decoration—the music and the café setting give the history a taste and texture you can actually enjoy. One minute you’re studying the imperial past; the next, you’re holding a cup and looking out over the night view with a small plate beside you. Nice, right? ☕

The reception room becomes the stage for an original musical about the Korean Empire era. Instead of only hearing about the imperial family’s world, you watch its stories unfold as a live performance—new scene, new energy, same palace setting!

Then bring out your camera face 📸. With period props and Seokjojeon’s night view behind you, the “Best Palace Shot” self-photo box lets you make a commemorative picture of your own; no grand portrait studio required, just you, the props and that gorgeous backdrop (^▽^).

The program is presented seasonally, and this edition unfolds over roughly six weeks as a paid experience at Seokjojeon, a heritage palace building within Deoksugung.
